Day 8 - El Questro to Home Valley Station

We left El Questro today and it was only a 50 km drive to get to our destination today - Home Valley Station.

Crossing the Pentecost.  Not much water in there.

Arriving at Home Valley Station

After we set up camp, I rode 4.8km on Mick's bike from the river camp to the homestead for a swim in the pool. It was too hot to ride it back, so dad put it in the back of the car for the ride home.

Our camp

I didn't think I should swim in the river!

hey look mum, we did washing!  :)

Setting up camp is busy work!

The sun set was beautiful.
I know this will freak mum out, but I saw a croc on the other side of the bank!  :)

Tried to fix a hole in my shirt.  Couldn't get it to work though.

We went to the homestead for dinner and on the way a bullock was so close to the side of the road that dad lent out the window and gave it a quick smack on the bum.  Mick & I laughed.

I had a steak and it was magnificent and when we finished we went back and started the fire and hung around the fire a bit and went to bed.

More adventures on the way...

Bye for now,

Cooper  :)
