Going through Richmond, in between Hughenden and Julia Creek, we went past Kronosaurus Korner. This areas is famous because it was used to be a 'Cretaceous Inland Sea', which means lots of fossils have been found that are from animals that lived and died when all this land was under the sea, 120 million years ago.

I somehow chopped the top off the Mt Isa Mines stack while Dad fed the Prado a couple of hundred bucks of diesel.

It stopped for the night at the Port Office Hotel in Camooweal.

I didn't think I was hungry, but I still scoffed 3/4 of my BBQ Chicken Pizza. Yum. Leftovers for breaky.
Our second day of driving is over and we still have lots of driving to go. Off to bed now for more sights tomorrow.
