Day 6 - Exploring El Questro

We woke up at 5:30am and sun was just coming up.  We made a fire and had breaky, then headed off to explore Zebedee Springs.  We were there when the gate opened at 7:00am and someone was already there! Even though the air temperature was around 15 degrees, the water was a constant 32 degrees. It was warm in the springs because the water comes from deep down in the earth.

About time we had a tub  :)
It was really beautiful!!

Then we went to El Questro Gorge and I went a different way and we got lost.  We found the real track eventually. We went for a swim half way, in between the top and the bottom of the Gorge.

There was a little bit of water on this track!!

It was a very rocky walk in the gorge.
Good thing we all had our Chinese Safety Boots on!

Then we went to Moonshine Gorge and had a swim there as well.
We found out that fish like Twisties because I kept feeding them.

From there we went to Jackaroo's Waterhole but we didn’t have a swim this time, we just took some photos.  We tried to go to Explosion Gorge, but it was too rocky.

 Me & the Boab tree.

On the way back, we went to Pigeon Hole for a fish, but we didn’t catch anything.

After that, we went back to our camp and made the fire up again. We went to 'happy hour' and ordered some burgers for dinner.  I got a CHEESEBURGER and it was great!

When we finished our burgers we went back to camp and went to bed.   After a full day of exploring all the gorges in the area, we were asleep pretty quickly.

Be back soon.  Bye for now.

Cooper  :)
