Day 5 : Kununurra to El Questro

Sorry I haven’t been blogging for a few days, but we have not had internet access.  Even now, it is a bit difficult as we have to travel to the property homestead and pay for it by the hour!

We left Kununurra at the start of Day 5 of our adventure at 1:49pm because we were waiting for dads mate Mick & had to install a new Anderson plug put on the car today.  It got taken off when we accidentally hit a roo.  He got his revenge of pulling out the plug and it was dragging on the ground.

The start of the Gibb River Road...

On the way to El Questro we had to pass heaps of creaks full of water. We set up camp at our private camp on the Pentecost River.  It's name was Mopoke.

After we set up camp we went to get some fire wood and went for a fish and we saw heaps of wildlife. I  caught a 52 ½ cm barra at dusk with a gold bomber lure.

We let him go though  :(

I'll be back with another update soon.

Bye for now,

Cooper  :)
